Spark 2.29 upgrade kit 27 November 2010

The contents of this archive allow you to upgrade a copy of Spark to
2.29 To do this, simply copy the !Spark directory in the archive onto a
copy of Spark.

2.29 is 26/32 bit compatible.

Spark 2.26 supports long file names, up to 64 characters long.

Note that this only applies to non-Spark format archives. So you can't use
your copy of Spark to save files with long filenames, but you can use it to
expand other archives which contain files with long names.

Another enhancement is the use of the RISC OS DOSMap to automatically
generate file types for files in non-RISC OS archives. This feature
can be selected from the options menu.

Owners of Spark may be interested to learn they can upgrade to SparkFS by
sending their original Spark disc and 19 UK pounds to the address below 8-)
(price includes carriage).

SparkFS is a true filing system (so you can run files and programs from
inside archives and save files back into archives direct), handles more
archive types and faster. SparkFS allows Zip and Tar archives to be written
as well as read. Zip files offer better compression and compatability with
other computer platforms.

The contents of this archive are copyright and only to be used by purchasers
of Spark. They must not be modified or used in any way other than to upgrade
a copy of Spark.
